To whom it may concern:

Marlon-David Sias has been employed in my Congressional Office for about two years. He began as an intern and then worked his way up to the Assistant to the District Director working out of my Buffalo District Office and later my Washington DC location.

Marlon-David is a very dedicated, committed, and loyal employee. He has faithfully served my Congressional Office throughout the years. Marlon-David has always gone above and beyond his duty to help his co-workers, the Constituents of the Sixth District, and myself. As my driver and researcher, he has been very reliable and trustworthy. Through his consistent morning news reports, he has demonstrated an incredible work ethic, keeping the office up-to-date of any concerns that needed to be addressed.

In both my Washington DC and District Offices, Marlon-David has done an excellent job speaking with constituents who phone my office. Marlon-David always answers the phone professionally and with a smile. He takes the time to listen to the needs of the constituents and then carefully follows through on their requests.

Marlon-David’s training and extensive knowledge have been valuable to my office.

I would highly recommend and endorse Marlon-David for any position that you have available because he has been an invaluable asset to my office.

All the best,

To whom it may concern:

“I am writing this letter for Marlon-David Sias in regard to the work he did while serving as my assistant in a Congressional Office for two years. One way to describe Marlon-David’s work is that if I ever needed a project done, he would do it. Whether scheduling appointments, filling in for me at a meeting, or training in a new employee or intern, he was always willing and able to help me, looking for ways to make my job less complicated. If he overheard I needed something he would be there instinctively. Whether I was calling in for directions, or needed to know what the latest news and blogs were saying about anyone including the Congressman, I was grateful at how diligently he could find the information needed to make fully informed decisions. Marlon-David also impressed me with his research skills. I received continual compliments from the press secretary on how helpful his daily news summaries were. If my computer, blackberry, network, company vehicle, or any office equipment

needed repair, he took care of fixing it right at minimal expense and had the patience to teach me how to do it myself. Thanks to his systems administration skills, we never lost any data when he was backing up our system, giving technical support to our satellite offices, and providing maintenance to our secure computer system. Marlon-David is also serious about the security of those he works alongside. On his own initiative, he developed a safety plan for confronting security threats, both in the office and for when he accompanied the Congressman at events. He notices security and political vulnerabilities missed by others and rapidly resolves them. I am still impressed at the skill set Marlon-David employed when defusing or fielding phone calls. He is a great listener. I am confident that Marlon-David will always be known as someone that makes a great first impression and can establish a trusting relationship with a phone call. From training a Columbian intern how to professionally answer calls in English, to interacting with numerous individuals from other nations and persuasions, Marlon-David’s foreign language skills and multi-cultural experiences were rare assets to our office. When Marlon-David trained someone for me I was confident they knew how to do the job. Whenever we had vacancies, I could count on Marlon-David’s networking skills to recruit applicants of excellent character. I have met few people more loyal and diligent than Marlon-David. If the Congressman needed someone to volunteer for an enormous task, he was willing to serve. He did all this, while still maintaining a 3.9 GPA for his Masters in Political Management. In addition, Marlon-David showed great responsibility for opening the office and at the end of the day, arming the alarm system. He truly is a team player. All the great work he has done deserves my full endorsement and unreserved recommendation for a position in your organization.”`
